The NorteShopping expansion added 15,000 m2 to the existing 54,618 m2 of GLA, representing an investment of €72 million.

In the expanded area, fashion anchor stores were added and leisure & entertainment options were reinforced, with a total reconfiguration of the food hall, which now include a new F&B concept in line with the latest trends.

This new F&B concept – called Norte Kitchen at an early stage and currently known as The CookBook – is inspired by traditional markets and presents unique gastronomic concepts bringing a casual atmosphere reminiscent of a typical street scene. The food hall is decorated with kitchen utensils and scooters and other elements that are reminiscent of a vintage style further enhancing the sense of nostalgia.

We provided branding and graphic design services for presentation purposes to stakeholders by developing an architectural & design package based on a cookbook concept. While doing so, we assisted Sonae Sierra’s Conceptual Design & Architecture Department with the interior design by selecting imagery for materials / finishes, furniture and light fixtures. Furthermore, we also provided branding in the built environment through specialty graphics.
